Park Plans
Plans have been or are being developed for the following areas
- El Encanto Azusa River Wilderness Park — along Highway 39 in San Gabriel Canyon near the northern boundary of the City of Azusa.
A Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) for El Encanto Azusa River Wilderness Park Master Plan is available for public review and comment through December 22, 2008. - Whittier Narrows Recreation Area — in the flood control basin behind Whittier Narrows Dam near the junction of the 60 and 605 freeways.
