Board Meetings
     Public meetings of the Watershed Conservation Authority are scheduled to be held nine months each year. Click on Next Meeting and Previous Meeting to find details of those meetings.

Park Plans
     Plans have been or are being developed for the following areas

  • El Encanto Azusa River Wilderness Park — along Highway 39 in San Gabriel Canyon near the northern boundary of the City of Azusa.
         A Draft Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND) for El Encanto Azusa River Wilderness Park Master Plan is available for public review and comment through December 22, 2008. [More details]

  • Duck Farm — along the San Gabriel River on the northern portion of the former Woodland Duck Farm site in La Puente [More details]
  • Whittier Narrows Recreation Area — in the flood control basin behind Whittier Narrows Dam near the junction of the 60 and 605 freeways.

     The Watershed Conservation Authority (WCA) is a joint powers entity of the San Gabriel and Lower Los Angeles Rivers and Mountains Conservancy (RMC) and the Los Angeles County Flood Control District (LACFCD).
